Vacation Part 1 ~ From Another Perspective

Road trip!
OH BOY!
My favorite thing!
OH BOY!
My bed was in the back seat of that white thing they ride around in.
My bed!
OH BOY!
My favorite thing!
And behind the white thing they ride around in was "THE TRAILER"!
MY FAVORITE THING!
Ok, I know I don't really look at that excited to be in "the trailer", but I love, love, LOVE "the trailer".
My humans can't be out of my sight.
Or more than 5' away from me.
I love it.

My humans seemed to be quite happy too, yakking in the front of that white thing we ride around in about 11 days, Arizona, camping, friends, Lucy, Maya and and blah, blah, blah until I took my 14th nap of the day.
Nap!
MY FAVORITE THING!

Then they got hamburgers.
OH BOY!
And gave me those long cream colored greasy salty things.
MY FAVORITE THING!

Oh boy, this was so much fun!

Then we parked in the desert and got to sit in front of "the trailer" and take another nap.
Well, I took a nap, they had wine and beer.
Two things that are not my favorite things.

And then, BEDTIME!
MY FAVORITE THING!
Especially in "the trailer", because the human's bed is really small and I don't really have a bed so I sleep on their feet and they wake up a lot and when they wake up a lot, I hear my name a lot.
And sometimes at night they pet me.
Pets!!
MY FAVORITE THING!
Or maybe it's more of a push...
Eh, whatever the humans touch me.
All good.

And the next day?
Breakfast!
A walk!
A long walk!
OH BOY!!

And the mama human took these pictures.

I like this one because I am in it.
Even if it was in a bathtub.
Bathtubs...
Eh, not my favorite thing at all.

But ok, because the daddy human was touching me.
Touching me!
OH BOY!
MY FAVORITE THING!

And this one with my mama human.

Even if I was on that leash thing and she wasn't touching me.

And this one for Uncle Stan.

Uncle Stan is a blacksmith.
Whatever that is...

And our campsite!
CAMPING!
MY FAVORITE THING!

OH BOY!

  1. For some reason I just want to sing 'see the U.S.A. in a Chevrolet...' my dad always sang that when we loaded up to go camping. Every summer for 6 weeks, from the time I was 6 until I was 19 and got married. Stupid... getting married, that wasn't a camping trip to remember.

  2. cute! I do think that humans would be a lot happier if we went around acting like dogs. Everything is wonderful when you are a dog!
